Hello everyone back home. the last 2 weeks have been very busy. Wade and I have begun to settle in now and have found a little place to live, which we hope to move into after we get back from his sisters wedding next weekend.
So much has happened in these 2 weeks to write about, so I will try and keep it brief.
We arrived Friday, 2nd, evening late, and literally breezed through customs. After having stressed for months about al the questions they would ask me. But no, the lady said about 5 words to me... hey, thank you and there you go. So with a new stamp in my passport into Australia I go. We stayed the night with Wades brother and the drove up to Biloela, Wades home town, the next morning. The drive was about 6 hours but it was pretty looking out at the countryside.
Since arriving here Wade has been helping out his Dad around the farm, diving tractors and feeding cattle. I have been helping his Mum out around the house and of course playing with our beautiful puppies. Wades parents dogs had 6 puppies, 2 boys and 4 girls, all black and white. When we got here they had only just started walking around now they are running everywhere and getting into everything. 3 of them have already gone to their new homes, and one of them goes this week. That leaves just our 2! Dodge and Dolly. They are they 2 that I am holding in my picture. I wll write more about them later.
As well as Wade feeding the cattle I have adopted the farm life and have joined him on the bike and tractor feeding the little ones, and feeding the horse.
Wades Dads horse is 28 and looking a little worse for wear in his old age. So over the last few days I have been getting to know him and giving him some loving attention. Which I'm not sure if he appreciates or not, but is getting it anyway. But we are making slow progress with each other.
On thursday we had a day in Paradise. Paradise is one of their other properties up in the hills. It is beautiful. With running creeks and mountains and lots of little calves. It is stunning.
I will write some more at a later time.
